• Transportation Service boundaries: North Boundary- Paseo Del Norte | East Boundary – Tramway |West Boundary- Coors |South Boundary (Los Lunas) - 13th Judicial Court House
• We kindly ask for a 72-hour notice on all transportation requests or before 12pm on Friday. 
• We stop transporting promptly at 4:00pm from Albuquerque & Los Lunas areas.
• If our schedule is booked, we can help get someone to their appointment by using other transportation providers within the area and may depend on patients medical insurance. 
• When requesting transportation, be sure to have appointment date, time, and address readily available. * Please also ask your health care provider on length of appointment, this information helps us plan our routes accordingly and can reduce wait time.

• Rides must be requested by 12 Noon one business day in advance
• For Monday rides, requests must be made by 12 Noon on the Friday before
• Ride requests are accepted between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
• Rio Metro dispatchers will work with riders to accommodate requested times or give other options based on bus availability

Utilize your insurance member services:

• Call your insurance member services number, (number usually found on your insurance card) and they can help set up transportation for you. Please me mindful that most requests for transport services require a 72 notice but can vary.

• We only deliver medications from Isleta Health Center Pharmacy
• Medications we DO NO deliver include narcotics, controlled substances, or medication that requires identification.
  • However, we can provide transportation to the IHC pharmacy if needed but will need to have a 24 hour notice as well.
• Medications are only deliverable only if person who medication is for.  We will not leave medication with a family member -- no exceptions.  We will not leave medication unattended outside homes or in mail boxes.  
• All Medications will need to be signed for by person medication is for.

 We provide linkage to essential resources within the community and surrounding areas. 

Out of test strips, alcohol pads, or need a new blood glucose monitor?  CHR can help by delivering the medical supplies that you need.
